First tub bath

Conner had his first tub bath last week, needless to say......he did not like it!! Very hard to keep a hold of him. He is a little mover!! Always kicking his legs and moving his arms! Hopefully we get the hang of giving him a bath and it won't seem so terrible to him.

1 Month Old

Can't believe Conner is already 1 month old! It goes by so fast! We went to his 1 month appointment today and he now weighs 8 pounds 9 ounces and is 22 1/2 inches long! He loves to stretch and try to hold his head up and his legs are always moving!! A very busy boy already.

While Dan was on a trip this week ( his first time away from Conner) Conner and I stayed with Grandma Losson for a few days, and what a big help! I think we finally figured out the best way to help Conner fall asleep at night.

Earlier this week after every bottle he was getting really fussing or maybe getting mad would be a better word. This would go on anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour. Talked to the doctor and said to up his intake to 4 ounces, but if that doesn't work he could have acid reflux. So far he has taken the 4 ounces really well.

He's finally here!

Conner William Davies entered the world on May 8th at 4pm. It was a long 22 hours! After such a long time and not much progress I had to have a c-section in order to meet our little guy! He had already been through so much before this point. Clumsy me broke my ankle at 16 week pregnant. The next day he had to be taken to the NICU due to an infection and was there for 5 days. It was hard having to just look at him the first couple of days and not being able to hold him! It was hard to go home and not being able to take him with us.

We decided to start a blog! Let's hope Dan and I can keep this up. We thought this would be a great way for family and friends to keep up to date with what is going on with us or more in particular.......Conner!

For those of you who don't know my last day at Jade Travel was May 7th. I will not be returning. We made the decision in January that I would stay home with Conner and go back to school in the fall. Which I'm really excited about!! I will do mostly online classes and have 1 night class a week.
